Welcome To Drew & Corey's UT 2004 Server
"Seattle Dedicated OC3 Server"

To access the game, in UT 2004 when you click on "Join Game" and "Internet", right click an area in there and chose "Open IP" from the list.
Type in 64.246.174.203:7777
That will take you into the game.

Anytime during the game you can hit the ESC key to bring up the map browser and in the bottom right corner you will see an area to add the server to your Favorites.
That makes it a lot easier to return again to the game next time by choosing "Favorites" from the "Join Game" menu.

Right now I have it set up for two instances of Capture The Flag, 2 for Team Death Match, One for Invasion, and one each for Onslaught and Assault.
The two games that have two instances you can choose from the map list and pick either all weapons, or the mutator Instagib which is a modified shock rifle which kills in 1 shot.

The other two mutators running in all the games are Bighead and Low Gravity.

Players and bots with high points get a huge head, and with low gravity turned on, you can jump real high when you hit your jump key.

The server is running full time, but I mainly play Friday nights from 7 to 8 PM or so, and I am on and off quite a bit Saturday and available Saturday night too in case anyone wants to play me.
You can PM me on YotaTech, or post in the UT 2004 thread in the PC section.

Also in order to play, you will need to update your UT 2004 game to the most current patch, and that is 3355 at the time of this writing.
You will also need 3 new map packs, and I will link all here.
1. 3355 patch
2. Editors Choice Bonus Pack
3. Community Bonus Pack #1
4. Community Bonus Pack #2

Wanna chat in the game with VOIP?
We run Teamspeak 2 on weekends from Friday night through Sunday.
During the week Teamspeak is shut off to save on bandwidth.

UTs built in voice chat is not the greatest, in fact it rather sucks..
Teamspeak 2 rocks, and is run on the gaming server with server side software.
Each person playing on the server must have the client side program, and you can get it at Teamspeak Communications.
It is very easy to setup.
1. Fire up the app and click on settings, then sound input/output settings.
Setup your push to talk button with a key or mouse button of your choice.
I would not use the same one which UT uses which is F.
Even though you can disable voice chat in UT, still pushing the default voice chat button will mute the game some.
I have my Teamspeak chat button setup with the 3rd mouse button.
I can push it to talk and push the main mouse button to fire weapons at the same time.

2. Next hit the connection link at the top and choose quick connect.
Simply type in the IP address of the server the game is running on.
That is all there is to it, and I must admit the voice quality is almost as good as a telephone.
When I game now I do not even use the telephone to talk with other gamers, Teamspeak is that good.

And you do not need a fancy microphone either.
I am using one of these cheap ones I have had for 10 years or so.
If you have a USB headset, I would imagine you can activate the voice activation instead of push to talk in the settings.
