Greenwater April 12th 2003, FS Road 70
With spring here now, Todd & I
wanted to get out for a few hours of fresh air to stretch our legs, and give the
4Runners a chance to stretch their legs as well.
We knew there would still be snow up there above 3,000', and we had to turn around several times as the roads we were on are pretty steep and you climb in elevation real quick, and before you know it, the snow gets real deep fast.
Some of these pictures were taken on the road that cuts left at the gate at the 10 mile point where the gate is they close on 70 during the winter.
Here are the people who went.
Corey - '91 4Runner (hey, that
be me)
Todd - '88 4Runner (Toddski)

Summery of
trip
Todd
and I had a great time exploring some areas we had never been to before.
Greenwater is so huge you could never cover it all in a lifetime.
The weather was pretty nasty for most of the morning, with a few occasional sun breaks,
but not much.
It was a lot of fun getting the rigs out into their natural environment,
and pulling the transfer case lever back into 4 low for a change.
I
can never tire of going up there, as there are so many areas to explore and have
fun.
